Tanlines started as the summer candle we couldn't keep in stock. Then, it became our most requested fragrance before we even had a bottle to put it in.
Here is what it smells like: the good sunscreen. The kind you find at the bottom of a beach bag in November and hold up to your face for a second longer than you meant to. Warm skin, soft coconut, sandalwood underneath. Nothing tropical. Nothing loud.
The nostalgia is the whole point. You already know this smell. You have just never been able to wear it on purpose.
Tanlines opens with a whisper of sandalwood and a hint of coconut that's dry rather than creamy. Sun-warmed air keeps it light. Then comes the powder note that reads exactly like SPF, and sandalwood and skin musk settle in underneath. It wears close and warm, like it came off your skin instead of out of a bottle.
