Long-lasting perfume is mostly a base notes problem.
You spray something in the morning, you love it for an hour, and by lunch it's gone. The usual instinct is to buy something stronger. Or spray more. Both miss the point.
When most of us search "strongest perfume," what we're asking is why it doesn't stick. The answer is almost always composition, not concentration. Top notes are built to leave. Citrus, fruit, green florals, they evaporate fast on purpose. The bottom of the formula is what hangs on. Woods, resins, musks, vanilla, oud. If a fragrance has a thin base, it won't last no matter how hard you spray.
Extrait, parfum, eau de parfum, eau de toilette. Those labels tell you how much perfume oil is in the bottle. Eau de parfum sits around 15 to 20%. Eau de toilette sits around 5 to 15%. All of our fragrances are eau de parfum. Not for marketing reasons. For longevity reasons.
The perfumes we make that people describe as "strong" share a pattern. They're built warm. Coconuts EdP leans into toasted coconut and soft musk that sits close to the skin. Smokeshow EdP is incense and blonde woods doing quiet work for ten hours. Tanlines EdP is sandalwood with a soft beach skin finish. Eau de Babe EdP is oud and leather and a coconut you didn't see coming.
None of them are shouting. They're dense. There's a difference.
A light spray of a warm EdP outlasts three sprays of something built around top notes. Most of us have been trained to think louder equals longer. It doesn't. Dense equals longer.
Skin matters too. Fragrances sit differently on dry skin than moisturized skin. Layering a coordinating body oil or butter underneath gives the EDP something to hold onto and extends wear significantly. The Coconuts Body Oil and Smokeshow Body Oil are both built to do exactly that. Apply first, let it absorb, then spray. The difference at hour six is noticeable.
If you've never tested a perfume by how it smells at hour six, try it. Hour six is the real number. It tells you what the base is doing, and the base is what people remember.
We made our Try Me sizes for exactly this. You get enough of a bottle to wear a fragrance for a full day, a few days in a row, and see what happens past hour three. Tanlines, Eau de Babe, Smokeshow and Coconuts all come in the smaller format. Pick the warmest one and wear it for a week. If it's still there at dinner, it's yours.
Long-lasting isn't a volume question. It's a composition question.
